Selsey Lifeboat Week

🎉 This year marks a special Selsey Lifeboat Week for RNLI Selsey Lifeboat Station as they celebrate their 200th anniversary in 2024! 🎉 This is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the incredible work these heroes do.

⚓️To join in the celebrations, we had an amazing trip to the Lifeboat Station yesterday. We enjoyed a close-up view of the Selsey Lifeboat and a brilliant talk from a volunteer crew member. The residents learned about the history of the station and fascinating details about the lifeboat itself, accompanied by a captivating video presentation.

The visit was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and the experience was welcoming and extremely wheelchair-friendly, thanks to the wonderful volunteers.
