'Patience, diligence and professionalism in all their care'
Sussex Grange were initially provided by NHS continuing care when my dad was discharged from hospital. We were so impressed with the carers and the management that my family opted to continue with them when the NHS funding ceased. Every carer we have met has been warm and engaging paying great attention to dad and his needs. They demonstrate patience, diligence and professionalism in all their care and, as a family, we have quickly built a positive and trusting relationship with the team. The information they share on the care app is so helpful and appears within minutes of a visit being completed. It brings tremendous peace of mind as sons and daughter because we live some distance from dad. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and the team frequently go the extra mile in keeping us up to speed or alerting us of a concern. We are now looking forward to them providing further care and support as mum is shortly to be discharged from hospital to join dad at home. Chris J
'I found their service and attention to detail excellent'
When my husband came out of hospital after a 10 day visit, we were given 10 days + NHS funded care 45 mins every morning. Sussex Grange provided this and I found their service and attention to detail excellent. I have had carers back in 2023 through a different agency and S Grange was far better. For example they sent a rota with the expected time and name of the carer. This was a great help. They phoned if they were going to be late. Mary F

We were treated with friendliness and care at all times nothing was too much for any of the members of staff and they would all go the extra mile to make sure that we were well looked after. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for home support the care was exceptional and well appreciated. 'The care she received was outstanding and so person centred'
My Nan lived at Sussex Grange for 5 years, the care she received was outstanding and so person centred, from the little things from knowing what was her favourite snack, to making her feel as part of the family. My Nan always told me on visits that everyone was like family. Sadly my Nan recently passed away and the dignified and caring end of life care the team gave my Nan was fantastic and as a family we will always be thankful to them. Sarah D
'At all times Mum was treated as an individual, with dignity and respect'
Mum moved into Sussex Grange in October 2023 following a week of respite earlier in the year. She had received home care from Sussex Grange since 2021 so it seemed only natural for her to move in. It is a small home and in every way, it is home to its residents, not an institution. All of the people who work there are committed to caring and kindness. My mum loved it there. She really enjoyed the food, she enjoyed that the carers took time to talk to her and listen to her stories. There were daily activities but it was down to Mum whether she joined in or not, depending on how she was feeling. She had a short stay in hospital before she died, I asked if she could come back to Sussex Grange for terminal care and the answer was "Of course, this is her home". Her end-of-life care was superb. The family were allowed access at all times of day and night to be with Mum and we were welcomed and cossetted at a difficult time. At all times Mum was treated as an individual, with dignity and respect. Hilary P
'I cannot fault how brilliant the care staff all are'
My father has been a daycare resident for about 7 weeks, he comes home every time full of praise for the home, I did have my doubts as to how he would adjust to this, but I cannot fault how brilliant the care staff all are, they have made him feel so comfortable and are very welcoming, they have some kind of activities almost every day, which he participates in and loves, he loves the food, especially the home-baked bread which they do, also the cakes, he frequently is sent home with two slices of cake, as we have to pick him up on the tea round, Overall very satisfied and it has also taken the pressure off my mother, so she can have a free day with no worries. I would highly recommend Sussex Grange, thank you to all for making my father's stay a very enjoyable one. Jackie R
'This has proved to be so much more than a home from home'
Our Dad has led an active independent life until earlier this year when needs changed and he decided to move into Residential Care. Having retired to live in Selsey 35 years ago, we began our search and quickly came across Sussex Grange, offering a beautifully maintained home and gardens. Dad has been a resident for six months and the whole team provides care and support in a kind and caring way, where residents' individual needs are of paramount importance, nothing has been too much trouble. So much thought is given to celebrating events at every opportunity to enrich the resident's lives, as well as extending invitations to their families. This has proved to be so much more than a home from home and we are so very grateful. JB
