Happy National Wiggle Your Toes Day!

Today, we put our best toes forward and incorporated this quirky national day into our weekly Brain & Body Exercise Session – and it was a toe-tapping success!

Our residents and guests got moving, laughing, and yes – wiggling – all in the name of fun, fitness, and foot awareness!

Did you know?


  • Your big toe carries around 40% of your body weight when you walk

  • Your pinky toe helps you stay balanced and stable

  • Your toe prints are as unique as fingerprints

  • There are 26 bones in each foot – 14 just in your toes!


Toes don’t get nearly enough credit, so today we made sure they got the spotlight they deserve!


It’s not too late to wiggle yours! Go on, give them a stretch and a shimmy!
