A recent activity at Sussex Grange for our residents saw them take a more green-fingered approach to their work. Jackie and the team arranged for the residents to make their own hanging baskets, something that they previously enjoyed doing in their own homes. Baskets were prepared and the residents spent the morning filling them with spring flowers.
Once the baskets were completed, they were displayed around the gardens for everyone to enjoy. Activities such as planting and other gardening tasks offer residents the chance to relax and participate in tasks that they have previously once enjoyed. The team at Sussex Grange work hard to offer residents a wide variety of activities, including quizzes, bingo, dances, TV afternoons and baking.
